Who showed me how to crochet granny squares when I was ten years old.
That was the start of my crocheting , she showed me how to make it and in twenty minutes my first square was done and a couple of days later a whole blanket, I was a fast learner.
I really liked making blankets I tried all types over the years, then I went to the smaller type yarns
and went to making doilies for my stereo cabinets because the stuff on top was scratching them, then I went to making table cloths, I liked the challenge.
As for the knitting, never could catch on till I moved to Scotland and sat in a yarn shop with the owner and stayed there till learned how, and I learned the straight knitting then I went on to Cable knit sweaters which are my favorite, I learned a lot those few years there in Scotland, I made about ten sweaters, all types from children to mohair type to cable patterns.
